Game Economy

We want to set a new paradigm, not only for the game industry, but for the whole economy. An economy of peer to peer trades, decentralisation of companies, projects and patrimony.

Innovative In-Game Economy

ur goal is to build an innovative in-game economy, where players own their game items and cards not only in the game world but also outside the game, on the blockchain.

We believe players should have full ownership of their game items. Once you acquire a game asset, you should be free to own and transfer it. Unlike in other games, you should be able to keep their assets outside the game database and be completely independent with them. Once you own a game item, you can play it in Spells of Genesis, trade it on the blockchain or even find alternative uses for it in other games.

BitCrystals

BitCrystals are digital assets acting as the game-fuel and the premium in-game currency in Spells of Genesis.

BitCrystals was issued in 2015 and used for one of the first successful ICOs. From the initial supply of 100,000,000 units, 30% were kept by EverdreamSoft, the token issuer, and the remaining 70% were offered on sale during the “BitCrystals Token Sale” – the ICO ran back in 2015. After the end of the ICO, the unsold BCY – 55,566,099 – were burnt. The remaining supply keeps decreasing thanks to the regular burns. Each month, EverdreamSoft burns BCY worth of 50% of their income from the sales of both blockchain and in-game assets for their main game Spells of Genesis.

BitCrystals Token Sale

The development of Spells of Genesis was funded by the BitCrystals Token Sale, which lasted for 30 days. Backers of the project bought BitCrystals and thus supported its development. BitCrystals were initially offered at the rate of 15 000 BCY per BTC and their price gradually increased every 5 days.

About 90% of the BitCrystals Token Sale goal, set at 730 BTC, was funded in only 3 days! In one month, over 930 BTC worth of BitCrystals was sold. After the BCY Token Sale end, all the unsold BCY from the total amount available for sale (70 000 000 BCY) were burnt.
